The Whiddon Mission Community

St Michael’s belongs to a benefice of Anglican (Church of England) churches which will shortly come together with the churches of the North Tawton group to form a new family of churches called the Whiddon Mission Community.

It will comprise the parishes of  South Zeal & South Tawton, Throwleigh, Gidleigh, Drewsteignton, Spreyton, Hittisleigh, Chagford, Sampford Courtenay, North Tawton, Bondleigh and Honeychurch.

This is an exciting time for us as our new Leadership Team, including our new Team Rector and Team Vicar, begin to work more closely together in order to serve the communities around us. We seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we learn new ways of:
